Your Contribution Matters
At The Brighton Optimist Club, we believe in the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together. Every project we undertake, every event we organize, and every child's life we touch is made possible through the generous support of people like you. Your donations fuel our mission to create positive change and provide vital services to the kids within our community.  The Brighton Optimist Club has a 501c3 foundation: The Optimist Foundation of Livingston County, Inc.   All donations are tax deductible.

How Your Donation Helps
Your contributions play a crucial role in the success of our various initiatives. Here's how your donation can make an impact:
  • Direct Community Service Projects: Help fund essential resources for our community service projects, such as the Free Fishing Derby for Kids, Spring Break Fun Day, the Oratorical Contest, the Essay Contest, Youth Appreciation Day and Respect for Law.
  • Support for the Underprivileged: Aid in providing necessary support to the less fortunate members of our community, including food drives, clothing donations, and scholarships for children from the Alternative High School.
  • Youth Development Programs: Support organizations that empower the younger generation, such Boy Scouts, Girls on the Run and Torch 180.
  • The Optimist Club conducts monthly Euchre Events: Over the past three years, the Optimist Club has donated over $25,000 to other local community service groups to support their efforts to make a difference.  These organizations include: Bennet's Beavers,  The Connection,  LaCasa, BASR Foundation, Blue Star Service Dogs, Northfield/Whitmore Lake Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, Livingston County DART, Kiwanis Story Walk, Brighton First Responders, Whitmore Lake Fireworks, Harvest Foods, Prelude Youth Theater, Brighton Library and Howell Library.
Donation Transparency
We value transparency and accountability. Every donation we receive is diligently recorded and allocated. We ensure that your contribution is used effectively and responsibly, and we regularly update our donors on how their support has made a difference.
